Paway Hero Image

Paway started as a dog walking app for owners and evolved into a SaaS platform giving walkers the tools to run their own business. As a UI/UX intern I collaborated closely with CEO and Lead Designer to mock-up, usability test, and ship subscription tiers.

THE CHALLENGE

Dog walkers are running small businesses with platforms working against them. How do you build tools that give professionals the independence and income they deserve?

Pain points

  • Existing platforms were taking up to 40% of every walk

  • Good walkers struggling to get walks on other platforms

  • Walkers lacked the tools to run their own business

THE APPROACH

How might we design an autonomous experience that reduces stress and seamlessly supports daily life?

REFLECTION

Designing autonomous experiences means designing for emotions, not just transportation. I learned that reducing cognitive load and anticipating user needs can transform travel from a task into a restorative experience.

Following prototype shows multiple opportunities for upgrade after signing up for Paway Lite tier.
